Hello from St Bart’s !

The weather is warm, the water is clear and the people are lovely. I’m in paradise

It has been a busy week and I have just finished work for the day. Time to get my chill on at Nikki Beach.

The Caribbean is a magical part of the world. Being here gives me a feeling of joy and oneness with nature. There is an abundance of wildlife (I even have a baby [...]

Be Yourself. No More. No Less.

Be Yourself. No More. No Less.

Positively Positive share a great article above on why we should stand proud with what we have, how far we have come, what we look like and who we are. Sure, we all set goals to become better in all areas but loving ourselves the way we are is just as important as stretching ourselves to reach those targets.

Ever heard of overweight individuals who are forced to accept their bodies mentally before they are physically able shed the weight?

Similarly, we need to accept where [...]

Orange carrots. A thing of the past?

By |April 4th, 2013|

Ever wondered why Carrots are orange?

Well actually, there are many different varieties of carrots as Prof Sue Hartley outlines in one of her recent lectures and in fact not all carrots are orange at all. Some carrots are white and others are purple!

GOOD Carbs not NO Carbs !

By |March 16th, 2013|

Follow a ‘GOOD carbs, not NO carbs’ way of living and you can have your cake and eat it too ! I say this while munching down on a delicious raw nut and seed brownie. Yum !

Let’s face it. Diets set us back. This we know. They cause irregularity in digestive processes and hormonal imbalance creating excess inflammation and body fat stores. Who wants to be dealing with that!? Ick ! No thanks !! [...]

Harness the power and live every day !

By |March 12th, 2013|

How often do we get caught up in what we call “living”, forgetting those we love or putting off until “tomorrow” (which we all know never comes!).

Today, I want you to harness the power within you and be thankful for every second you have. Enjoy the little moments, the people, the weather, animals and small tasks.. for we may not always be able to share these with ourselves or each other.

If you’re mind is going crazy and your addicted to your phone or computer. STOP ! Take your pulse, [...]

By |January 25th, 2013|

Hi Everyone !

WOW. If you told me this time last year that I would be posting our January 2013 blog from St Vincent, a small island in the Caribbean.. I would have called you “post holiday crazy”
